What do Ireland's rapid charging networks charge?
EV·Echo, checked 2 October 2026: ESB ecars charges 73c/kWh by bank card on its fast and high-power chargers; IONITY charges 81c/kWh by bank card; EZO charges 74c/kWh plus a €1.50 access fee at most of its rapid sites.
These are pay-as-you-go prices, with no membership or subscription. Each figure comes from the operator's own live charger data or its own pricing page, and each links to a page with that network's full rates, memberships and fees.

A per-unit price is not the whole cost. Some Irish networks add a fee for each charging session, so on a small top-up the fee matters more than the unit price. Subscriptions and app rates can be lower than the prices above; each network's page sets them out.
